When printing glassware that does not call for the use of thermoplastic mediums and heated screens, synthetic fabrics are a viable alternative to stainless steel.

They are economical to use, easy to work with, exhibit exceptional qualities of strength and stretch resistance and are manufactured to fine tolerances of weave, thread diameter and aperture.

The most widely used is Monofilament Polyester but Monofilament Nylon is also available. The following list covers standard weaves of Polyester fabrics ("PE"). Nylon fabrics are available in the same specification and are preceded by the letter 'N'.

Standard rolls are 50 metres long and either 100cm (39 inches) OR 130cm (51 inches) wide. All standard mesh sizes are available together with ranges of special heavy duty and high capacity weaves. Most fabrics are available from stock or on a very short lead time.
