SUBJECT: Well established container producer running 3 Strutz machines - one 3CS-150, one 3CS-125 and one 3CS-110. Two were bought new. The 3CS-110 is now over 10 years old.

THE PROBLEM: Although the client recognised the machines capability, they could not achieve a reasonable level of efficiency due to excessive down time. Screen life seldom exceeded 5 hours and combined output averaged 200,000 bottles/day in spite of speeds up to 85 bottles/minute.

THE SOLUTION: The Kwik Change Screen System was installed on all 3 machines and supported by new equipment in the screen room and darkroom. A 12 day training programme was conducted and this was followed-up by a more intensive programme 3 months later.

THE RESULTS: Production immediately jumped to 250,000/day. Within 6 months, production had reached 290,000/day, a 45% increase output. The extra revenue generated from increase sales was over 50 times the capital outlay. 
Their second plant was equipped with the Kwik Change Screen System the following year.
