Our Plant Appraisal Service is an ‘in-depth’ study of the facilities, equipment, supportive infrastructure and working practices of the decorating department.

The study is designed to consider all aspects of the department’s performance and determine what functions or facilities require attention in order to achieve optimum efficiencies and print quality.

It will also consider the capability of the department in terms of production capacity and flexibility in relation to present and future requirements.

To make this study, one of our Senior Decorating Technologists will visit the factory for a period of 5 working days and would study the following areas:

• Products

• Decorating Machines

• Decorating Lehrs/Kilns

• Screen Making Facilities & Preparation Procedures

• Screen Frames & Consumables

• Handling/Work Flow/Inspection/QC

• Personnel

• Consumables

After completion of the study, a detailed report would be produced giving a full appraisal of the department. It will include recommendations for improvements in order that the department can achieve its optimum performance. The report would also form the basis of a development programme.
